Aditional Information
For a successful birdwatching outing we would like to make you aware of the following:
Birdwatching is a fascinating activity yet it requires patience, perseverance and above all sensitivity to fully enjoy it.
We will be visiting a variety of environments in the Iguazu Nacional Park.
The priority of the tour is to watch the widest variety of bird species.
Chance sightings of mammals are possible but this is not the objective of our outing.
We will cover part of our trajectory by vehicle but we will also walk, always depending on bird activity.
You will be on an outing in the jungle observing birds in their natural environment, for which you will need appropriate footwear and clothing. If you are sensitive to insect bites we recommend that you wear a long-sleeved shirt and long trousers. The shoes should be closed, that is, not open-toed, as our walk will take us across wet areas where both vegetation and the ground are irregular. It is also advisable to wear a hat.
During the outing we provide mineral water and fruit juices and, if required, insect repellent. If you are allergic to any of the repellents, please remember to bring your own.
birdwatcherIf you intend to only photograph birds and you have the appropriate equipment we recommend that you book a private tour as this will more adequately meet your expectations.
If you are an expert birdwatcher who is after local specialities we again recommend that you book a private tour to enable our guide to dedicate his time to the search of the birds that particularly interest you.
Lastly, if you don´t have much experience in birdwatching we hope that this outing will encourage you in this activity. On the other hand, if you already are experienced, you will hopefully be satisfied as you will have observed many new and beautiful bird species.
